LoveLive!Days December 2026 Issue Features Maki, Riko, and Mia on New Cover, Out October 30

The December 2026 issue of LoveLive!Days has revealed its new cover, bringing together three different generations of the franchise: Maki Nishikino, Riko Sakurauchi, and Mia Taylor. The newly drawn illustration was created by 2C=Galore / 2C=がろあ.

The official Love Live! Series account also included a small tease, asking fans to look at this cover together with the cover of LoveLive! Series 15th Anniversary SPECIAL. The exact result of that visual connection was not fully explained in the initial post.

December Cover and 15th Anniversary SPECIAL

Three Generations Share One Cover

The December cover brings together Maki from μ's, Riko from Aqours, and Mia from Nijigasaki in a single cross-series illustration.

The selection fits naturally into the franchise's ongoing 15th-anniversary period, when characters and performers from different Love Live! projects are being brought together through broader series-wide activities.

2C=Galore also has a long history with Love Live!. KADOKAWA previously published Love Live! Series 2C=Galore Artworks, collecting illustrations created across several branches of the franchise.

The Regular and SPECIAL Covers Are Connected

The most unusual part of the announcement is not simply the character lineup.

The official account specifically asks fans to consider the December cover together with the LoveLive! Series 15th Anniversary SPECIAL cover, confirming that the two illustrations were designed with some form of visual connection.

The initial announcement does not fully explain that gimmick, so it is better treated as an official tease rather than assuming exactly how the completed composition works.

Two Issues Arrive on October 29 and 30

The 15th Anniversary SPECIAL arrives first on October 29. The A4 magazine runs 116 pages and is priced at 2,640 yen.

The regular LoveLive!Days December 2026 issue follows on October 30 with 140 pages and a 1,500-yen special price.

Both releases also arrive shortly before LoveLive! Series 15th Anniversary Love Live! Fest, scheduled for mid-November at Vantelin Dome Nagoya.

Why This Matters

1) Three separate series meet on one cover

Maki, Riko, and Mia represent μ's, Aqours, and Nijigasaki rather than a single group.

2) The two covers contain an official visual gimmick

The official account itself highlights the connection with the 15th Anniversary SPECIAL without immediately revealing the complete idea.

3) 2C=Galore returns to a cross-series Love Live! illustration

The artist has worked extensively across the franchise and already has an official Love Live! artbook.
