Atelier Resleriana Ends Japanese Service on November 25, Closing A25 After Three Years

Atelier Resleriana (レスレリアーナのアトリエ) is entering its final months of operation. KOEI TECMO has announced that the Japanese service will shut down on November 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM JST, more than three years after its original mobile debut.

The announcement does not end activity immediately. Main Story Chapter 33, closing events and Wishes, and the game's third-anniversary celebration will continue before the servers are permanently taken offline.

Servers Go Offline November 25 After More Than Three Years

KOEI TECMO has set November 25 at 4:00 PM JST as the final shutdown time. Once that deadline passes, the Japanese Atelier Resleriana servers will no longer be playable.

The iOS and Android versions originally launched on September 23, 2023, while Steam followed in January 2024. The Japanese service will therefore have operated for roughly three years and two months.

The official notice does not provide a specific commercial or technical reason for the decision.

Paid Sales Stop, With Refunds Opening After Shutdown

Purchases of paid Lodestar Gems, paid products, and paid-only Wishes ended on August 27 at 4:00 PM JST.

Paid currency already held in an account can still be used until the servers close. Any eligible balance left afterward can be submitted for refund between November 26 at 2:00 PM JST and February 24, 2027 at 2:00 PM JST.

Only unused paid Lodestar Gems qualify. Free currency is not refundable.

Chapter 33 and Closing Events Continue

The announcement day also brought Main Story Chapter 33, “私たちの未来,” moving the core story into its closing phase.

The remaining schedule includes ★3 Character Guaranteed and SSR Memoria Guaranteed Wishes, ATELIER FES II adjustments, and multiple Third Anniversary Special Battles.

Quest drops receive a +100% campaign, login and daily rewards are being adjusted, and a third-anniversary Roman Grand Tournament begins August 31.

The Third Anniversary Will Still Be Marked on September 23

Despite the shutdown announcement, KOEI TECMO will still launch a Third Anniversary Special Website on September 23, 2026, exactly three years after the Japanese mobile debut.

The site is planned to include short stories covering moments not shown in the Main Story as well as retrospectives looking back across the game's narrative.

The official Discord will also remain temporarily accessible. New posts stop September 30 before the server closes alongside the game on November 25.

A25 Went Through a Major Shift With Season 2

Atelier Resleriana was introduced as Project A25, making it a mainline Atelier release rather than simply a mobile spin-off.

Season 1 concluded in March 2025, when the Japanese subtitle changed from Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator to 千の国々と万物の管理者 and Albina joined the story as a new protagonist.

That shift took Resna and Valeria's journey beyond Lantarna into new regions before the narrative eventually reached Chapter 33 in 2026.

Global Already Closed, but the Resleriana Setting Still Has an Offline Game

The English and Chinese global version of Atelier Resleriana previously ended service on March 28, 2025, meaning the new announcement specifically concerns the Japanese service that remained active.

It does not erase every game set in the Resleriana world.

Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, the separate premium RPG released in September 2025, shares the setting but is designed to be played entirely offline without an internet connection.

KOEI TECMO has not announced an offline conversion or archive mode for the original live-service Atelier Resleriana itself.

Why This Matters

1) This is the shutdown of a mainline Atelier project

Atelier Resleriana carries the A25 project designation, so its closure also ends one distinct mainline chapter in the franchise's history.

2) The story is still receiving a closing phase

Chapter 33, final-period events, and the anniversary site give the game time to wrap up parts of its journey rather than simply disappearing immediately after the announcement.

3) Preservation is now a major question

Both global and Japanese servers are ending without an announced archive mode. The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian keeps the setting alive, but it does not preserve all of A25's live-service content.
