New Asta Visual and the Return of “Grandeur”

Asta Opens a New Battle Visual Project
The first visual places the viewer in the ancient demon's position moments before Asta attacks. Devil Union Asta dominates the composition as the Demon-Slasher Sword comes down toward his opponent.
Built around the phrase 「目の前に、最恐が迫る。」, the project is designed to make each image feel like a direct encounter with the character's power. More visuals featuring characters evolving through the battles of the 2nd Season are planned.
“Grandeur” Returns From the 1st Season
Episode 3 also creates a direct musical connection with the previous anime by bringing back Snow Man's “Grandeur.”
The song originally served as the opening theme for the 13th cour of the 1st Season. Here, it returns not as the current opening but as an insert song during one of Asta's major battle sequences.
Satsuki Kokufu Voices Lilith and Nahamah

The October 17 update also revealed character settings for Lilith and Nahamah, two supreme-rank devils connected to the opening of the Tree of Qliphoth.
Satsuki Kokufu voices both characters. In her accompanying comment, she emphasized the eerie presence and strength of the pair and pointed toward their upcoming battle as something viewers should watch for.
The 2nd Season Moves Deeper Into the Spade Kingdom Conflict
Black Clover 2nd Season continues the fight against the Dark Triad and the devil power surrounding the Spade Kingdom. Asta can now use Devil Union with Liebe while the Magic Knights face increasingly dangerous threats.
The season began airing October 3 on the TV Tokyo network, with Japanese streaming available through Anime Times, Lemino, U-NEXT, Anime Hodai and a broader list of services.
Why This Matters
1) The new visual is presented from the enemy's perspective
Rather than simply showing Asta attacking, the composition places the viewer directly in front of the incoming strike.
2) “Grandeur” directly reconnects the anime with its 1st Season
Reusing Snow Man's former opening gives Episode 3 a clear musical link to an earlier era of Black Clover.
3) Lilith and Nahamah bring the devil threat closer to the center
Their character-setting and casting reveal signals another escalation in the Spade Kingdom conflict.
